Janice is a passionate yoga teacher and practitioner with over 30 years of experience. Since discovering yoga in Austin in 1979, she has embraced the practice with a heart full of love. Janice infuses her classes with a playful and compassionate attitude, drawing inspiration from Traditional Lakota ways and Earth-centered practices.

Trained in Hatha yoga at the Yoga Institute of Houston, Janice continued her studies with a 100-hour training from Dharma Yoga Austin and a 300-hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training by Yogi Bhajan. She has also delved into Gong therapy with Mehtab Benton and Siri Bahadur Singh and Sat Nam Rasayan with Guru Dev Singh.

Believing in the transformative power of yoga, Janice is dedicated to helping students discover their True Selves and awaken their Souls’ Destiny. In addition to regular public classes, she leads workshops in Kundalini and Healing Addictions, Kundalini for Prosperity, Yin Yoga, and more. Janice’s classes often incorporate her love of music, sound, and Tibetan sound therapy, offering a unique and healing experience.
